Description

Earth Viewer by using OpenGL ES 2.0. renders rotating planet Earth with detail surface, live clouds, including atmosphere effect and bumpmapping technique. Application includes the following

Live weather
Live light
Bumpmapping
Antialiasing
Atmosphere effect
Open source / see homepage

*Internet access – Application requires this permission to download the cloud map durring startup (~0,4MB) from http://xplanet.sourceforge.net. The map is infrared compisite from satellite images.

*Please note, that the application has been tested only on Samsung Galaxy series. Black screen issue is related with OpenGL capabilities of device. Sorry for this and other bugs. You can help by downloading the source, debugging it and sent feedback.
