We are a group of Ayurveda Doctors who have set up this site with the aim of sharing information on Ayurveda and Ayurvedic treatments for ailments that effect many of us today.

Today known as a type of alternate treatment, Ayurveda is ancient science (more than 5000 years old). As you will read in many of our blog postings, such an ancient science has addressed almost all of the serious disorders we grapple with in the 21st century.

The key differentiating factor in Ayurveda vs. other forms of treatments is the outlook of Ayurveda. Ayurveda looks at the complete picture of the individual – mind, body and spirit – as one whole. Imbalances in either of these 3 can result in physical ailments and diseases.

When an Ayurvedic Doctor consults with her patient, the consultation goes beyond the visible symptoms being felt or seen. It takes an indepth understanding of all factors in the patients life that could be causing the symptoms that are visible.

Ayurvedic Doctors in India, attend medical school for 5 years before they get licensed as Doctors. The degree conferred on an Ayurvedic Doctor is B.A.M.S. (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicines & Surgery). All doctors who are a part of Ayurveda Group are qualified doctors.
