The CIRSE 2012 Annual Congress and Postgraduate Course, 15-19 September 2012, Lisbon (PT), is a trend-setting, dynamic and service-oriented event, dedicated to education, science and innovation. In over 200 hours of educational and scientific sessions it covers the entire spectrum of Interventional Radiology and is the largest and most comprehensive congress in the field of minimally invasive image-guided therapies. The programme is designed around seven main themes including Vascular Interventions, Transcatheter Embolization, Interventional Oncology, Neuro Interventions, Non-Vascular Interventions, IR Management and Imaging.

With medical attendance from over 80 countries it is a unique platform for interaction and the exchange of scientific information. The educational programme provides the opportunity for physicians to familiarise themselves with new devices and master new techniques, continually improving the service IR can provide for patients.
