Skiing is something you don’t often do alone. Connect with your friends on Snowciety and see where they are on the slopes. Easily meet up again when you have split up. No hassle with phone calls, text messages or walkie-talkies. At any time you can view the exact location and stats of your friends, in real-time.

* Track your progress
Start mapping your runs on the slopes, whether you’re skiing or snowboarding. Snowciety saves your route and various stats such as distance, duration, speed, vertical distance and many more.

* Share with the world
You automatically share your tracks with your friends on Snowciety and can choose to share them with the world on Facebook and Twitter. Brag about your speed or show them your favorite routes!

Some of the features, like the social features and real-time sharing, need a wireless data connection. However, Snowciety can be used without a data connection; you can share your tracks afterwards while on Wifi. Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Snowciety is currently in beta and has been tested on Android 2.3.x and 4.x and on the following devices:

Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy SII and SIII
HTC One X
HTC Desire, Desire HD and Desire Z
HTC Sensation XL, Wildfire S

* Fixed an issue where the Home keeps saying that it is loading on some phones.
