  • It allows connecting to shared folders hosted upon Windows or Samba servers over Wifi/3G/4G. It permits handling many connections with authentication. It comes down with simultaneously a pump register browser and also a SMB file browser. It offers install and upload assistance for files and also folders. May perhaps synchronize folders. An individual can rename, delete, get register details, create folders open town and remote files. It comes down with share feature for gallery. WINS server, LMHOSTS and aired address options are really accessible for name resolution. Browse and also transfer intents are really available for third party applications. Root access is certainly not needed.

Hi I am looking for FXCM app for BB-Z10 please. Is there anyway I can hide my app using a password? If so please post for same model. Also looking for Reliance app for the same model.

This insists that my playbook bluetooth is turned off and wants to turn it on.  Then subsequently fails to turn bluetooth on, whether bluetooth had been already turned on or not.

My play book is on OS 2.1.0.1526, upgraded on first use.

  • mithun

    is this working or not?

  • davidm49

Am I the first commenter out of 14000 downloads? I guess it didn’t work for anyone else, either. I downloaded it, installed it with DDPB, opened it. There was a “wait” circle going round and round, and a message saying that it was turning on Bluetooth. And it continued going round and round and round and round. Eventually, I closed the app and turned on BT to give the app a little help. Same thing again. I even connected with a BT keyboard so that the BT would be active. No help.

For the first installation, I had downloaded to PC. Maybe it would help if the .bar was already on the PB, so I uninstalled, downloaded to PB, installed again, and opened the app. It still couldn’t start Bluetooth, and it couldn’t detect that Bluetooth was already running.

This is one big waste of time. I only hope that it wasn’t a sneaky way of dumping some malware in my PB.

I suspect it will take a lot more than 769 kB to defeat the “Blackberry Bridge” cr**ware that BB uses to cripple the normal L2CAP functioning.

me too …its completely waste of time…
it is obvious that blackberry device open their data ports only to blackberry desktop software
so do not make yourselves fools….

@davidm49 I should have said, this comment applies to “Bluetooth File Transfer for Playbook and BB10”. That is the page where I wrote it, but it seems to appear on other pages of this site as well. I have installed other apps successfully with DDPB.

  • rickBBPBstressD

@davidm49 Thanks Dave, I wish they would put all known non working BARs in a section for developers and labled as such. Suckers like me spend hours of wasted time downloading and trying to install useless apps.

  • davidm49

@davidm49 I’ve been looking through the apps that I sideloaded in the past. The only one working is Kindle, and I didn’t get the .bar for that from this site, but from http://www.blackberryos.com . I thought I had Skype Beta working at one time, but it’s not working now. Maybe an OS update made it inoperable.

  • Marvelous.

  • EroticDesktops

Try this site, it may help you. Goodluck! http://eroticdesktops.co.uk

  • Canki

I sideloaded AVG it without any trouble on my PB and it works. Since the Playbook is not a phone, some features don’t seem to be available (“Location” or “Shout”, for example, ’cause the device doesn’t have an actual phone number), but others work. No the full enchilada, but it’s better than nothing, I guess.

This isn’t compatible with blackberry – and this is also not an official release. Please remove it from this site.  Torque is only to be distributed from the official Google and Blackberry app stores.
