Scan QR & UPC barcodes to launch videos, pricing, coupons & reviews in seconds.
ScanLife turns your camera phone into a all-in-one QR Code and barcode reader to help you save money and get more information from products, magazines, displays and more.
Scan any 2D barcode (QR Code, Datamatrix, EZcode) that you find in print, packaging, or business cards to launch specific websites, videos, or contact information.
Scan regular UPC/EAN barcodes from all products, like DVDs, books, and food to see a variety of information to make shopping for the holidays easier than ever:
– Prices from over 25 different online retailers
– Local prices to find the product near you (US only)
– Reviews from Amazon & Best Buy
– Related deals & coupons
– Related accessories
– Nutritional information & ingredients (US only)
– You can even buy the product in a few clicks!
You can view a Live Feed of scanning activity right from the app, and click on products to view the information.
Personalize your experience by choosing your own scanning theme from Classic to Fighter Jet.
HISTORY & SHARING
Want to share the barcode content that you’re scanning? Just go to History or the UPC results to quickly share the content via your Facebook or Twitter account.
CREATE YOUR OWN QR CODES
You can also create your own ScanLife activated QR Codes for free. Just go to www.scanlife.com on your PC to create your own personal account, or a Business account for more advanced features and analytics.
– NOTES ON PERMISSIONS –
We take your privacy seriously, so it is important to understand why we ask for certain permissions.
“Services that cost you money”:
QR Codes can launch a number of actions on your device like dialing a phone number or sending an SMS message. We will show you the phone number or SMS message but we will not complete the action unless you click Dial or Send.
The application requires video permission because we need to access the camera to scan barcodes.
Location is used to give you more relevant information like local prices when available. You will be prompted before Location data is sent.
