Essential Android Tablet Applications
If you have just received a new Android Tablet or new e-reader you have come to the right place! We present the essential Android Installs that we feel everyone should have on their tablet. Many e-readers like the Kobo Vox, Pandigital Novel, Velocity Micro Cruz and others do not have the ability to watch Youtube videos or Adobe Flash right out of the box. We have all of these programs and many more that you will need for your day to day experience. Many of our applications were selected specifically by the Good e-Reader staff to be tablet and e-reader optimized and most are only on the official Google Android Market. All of our essential applications are 100% free and supported directly by us.

This website FREAKN ROCKS. I have found the promise land almost returned my playbook with major disappoint because of the lack of quality apps.
Enjoying the website experience. Any chance that you might make Go-Global Client (Android App) available for the Playbook from Graphon? Thanks in advance.
Hi thanks a lot for this great website, the videos and tutorials are great, i just have one problem, im trying to find the essential app: load android apps no play book, as the tutorial says, but i cant find it. can you give a hand? thanks
Is it possible to get Sky Go on the Kobo Vox? I have managed to download the Iplayer and the Kindle app but can't find anything that helps me. thank you.
Hello guys I just would like to say awesome app store it's by far the best. I've been haveing a problem down loading Google Body onto my Kobo Vox it keeps saying Parse Error...this has never happend to me before and I've noticed others have had some issues with this same app is it not compatable with the Kobo Vox?
I just wanted to say thanks a million for adding Google Street View I was able to download it with no problems from your app store, I can't believe the quick response I got...you guys are great and again thank you for the app. Pickles Flomar
I have a Kobo Vox and I've down loaded your app store which by the way is the easiest app store I've every used....also I've down loaded the 1 Market Mobile app store and they have a very popular app called Google Street View I've have tried everything to get this app and all my attemps are met with failure ......I know this is a lot to ask but would it be possable for you to make this app available through your app store if you can that would be awesome.....again thanks a million for the apps you already provide because I wouldn't have any if it wasn't for your site. Thanks Pickle Flomar

I have a kobo vox and am wondering if it is possible to download skype. I have just tried and get the message "Download unsuccessful." Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for fixing the News 360 I down loaded it tonight and all went well but I've been haveing that problem again with the app Google Body I've tried a few times to down load it onto my Kobo Vox and it keeps saying (parsing error) I'm sure I'm not the only one cause I've been watching the down load number and they've stayed the same. Thanks again Richard
First, thank you guys for this amazing website. I own a Kobo Vox and would not enjoy it half as much if it were not for the information and the apps provided on this site. I have recommended your site to many Kobo and Playbook owners. Have you guys considered making Samsung's ChatOn app available on your Android Apps "store"? It seems it would be a valuable communication tool for Android E-Reader users. Again thanks for the good work.
I have a Coby 7012, I downloaded the adobe flash from the link you have.It says it's installed. but doesn't seem to be working. For instance, I went to ABC and tried to watch an episode of a program online, it tells me I need Adobe flash player version 10.1 to view this...... Any suggestions? Thanks
install flash to your colby here http://apps.goodereader.com/essential-installs/essential-android-tablet-applications/?did=24
I've checked everything I know to check, the download seems to have installed but I still get the message I need to install adobe flash to view the video.....Somebody help please :-)
Ok, after the download, I checked to make sure my browser was set to allow plug ins...it is.....I have an icon on my tablet that says.....Flash player settings, when I click this all I get is a blank black page
how would i install this on my vox? Would i download it, then drop it into my download folder in the vox when USB connected? or would i download it directly onto my vox?
Watch the tutorial video we did on how to load our apps on the kobo vox - http://apps.goodereader.com/app-loading-tutorials/
They sure will! all of these apps will work on any Android tablet 1.6 and above, this includes any version of the entire Pandigital Nova line of e-readers/tablets
Tried also to load the anti-virus AVG app, did the same thing as Richard m but me I could install it but when I go to my apps page and tap on the anti-virus app (like a big pill), then I get the message same as Richard...I have no antivirus app whatsoever on my kobo vox...Thanks for the rply guys...Love your blog, you Tube channel also and keep up your good work!! Ginette
Once again you responed with a swift kick of triumph to the digital download of success in me being able to get the AVG Anti-Virus 2.9 installed onto my Kobo Vox...Thanks again for being & doing what the rest can' t. Richard m
